These terms are the agreement between you and [FULL LEGAL NAME], Serbia (“we”, “us”), for the use of Yamb: the mobile app, the web game at yamb.gg and the game server behind them (together, “the Service”). By playing you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. How we handle your data is described separately in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
- Yamb is free to play, as a guest or with an account. Yamb Extra, when on sale, is a one-time purchase through the App Store or Google Play.
- Be decent at the table: no abuse in chat or names, no cheating, no bots or modified clients.
- Unfinished tables expire 24 hours after the last move. We do our best to keep the game running, but it comes without guarantees.
- You can delete your account whenever you like. We can suspend accounts that break these terms.

1. The Service
Yamb is an online, real-time, multiplayer version of the dice game Yamb (Jamb). You create or join a table, choose the columns and house rules, and play against other people or against computer players. Finished games are saved to your match history; account holders can see statistics computed from them. The Service is operated by an individual developer and may change over time (section 7).
2. Who may play
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age at which you can accept these terms yourself in your country, a parent or guardian must agree to them for you. Yamb involves no wagering and no real-money prizes; it is a game of dice for points.
3. Accounts and guests
- Guests. You can play without an account. A guest is tied to the device it plays on: your seat, unfinished games and match history are available only on that device and are lost when the app is uninstalled or the browser’s site data is cleared.
- Accounts. You may register with e-mail and password or sign in with Google or Apple. Give us accurate information and keep your credentials to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us if you believe someone else is using it.
- One person, one account. Do not create accounts for other people or hold several accounts to gain an advantage. One account may be signed in on several devices, but an account can hold only one seat at a given table.
- Deleting your account. You can delete it at any time in Settings. The consequences are described in the Privacy Policy, section 7.
4. Rules of conduct
At the table and everywhere in the Service, you agree not to:
- harass, threaten, insult or discriminate against other players, in chat, through emoji reactions or through the name you choose;
- post content that is unlawful, sexually explicit, hateful, or that infringes someone’s rights, or impersonate another person;
- cheat: the server decides every roll and every score, and any attempt to alter game state, replay or forge messages, exploit a bug, or use a modified client, script or automation to play is a breach of these terms;
- interfere with the Service — probing, overloading, scraping, or accessing parts of it that are not offered to players, such as administration functions;
- use the Service for anything unlawful or for any commercial purpose we have not agreed to.
We may remove content, end a table, or suspend or delete an account that breaks these rules, with or without notice depending on how serious the breach is. If you see abuse, tell us through “Report a bug” / “Send feedback” or by e-mail.
5. Your content
You keep whatever rights you have in what you write in the chat and in the names you choose. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, transmit and display that content to the extent needed to run the Service — to show your message to the other players at the table, to keep the chat of a paused game, and to show your in-game name in match histories. This licence ends when the content is deleted under the retention rules in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the right to share it.
6. Yamb Extra
This section applies once Yamb Extra is offered for purchase.
- What it is. Yamb Extra is a one-time purchase that unlocks additional features described in the app (for example extended statistics and house rules that only the host of a table needs to own). The exact features are those shown in the app at the time of purchase.
- Buying it. You buy it through the Apple App Store or Google Play at the price they display. The purchase is a contract with the store under its terms; the store processes the payment. We receive a confirmation and attach the entitlement to your Yamb account, so you need an account to buy it, and it follows that account across devices and platforms where the store permits.
- “Pay once, keep it forever.” The entitlement does not expire and there is no subscription. “Forever” means for as long as the Service is operated; if we ever discontinue the Service we will give reasonable notice.
- Refunds are handled by the store under its refund policy; we cannot issue them ourselves. Nothing here limits any statutory right of withdrawal or refund you may have.
- Changes. We may change the price or the feature set for future purchases. We will not remove features you paid for without replacing them with something of at least equivalent value, except where required by law or by a store’s rules.
- Not transferable. The entitlement is personal to your account and cannot be sold, transferred or shared.
7. Availability and changes
- We try to keep the Service available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. It may be down for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control.
- An unfinished table expires 24 hours after its last move and is deleted with its chat and move log. A lobby or a finished game is deleted when the last player leaves. Paused games are kept as described in the Privacy Policy. We may also reset live tables when an update or an incident requires it; a game in progress at that moment is lost.
- We may add, change or remove features, rules or columns at any time, and may stop offering the Service altogether with reasonable notice.
- Updates to the app may be delivered automatically. Some features need the latest version.
8. Our rights
The Service — its software, design, artwork, sounds, texts and the Yamb name and icon as used here — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app and the website to play the game under these terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or lease any part of the Service, or reverse engineer or extract its source code, except where the law expressly permits it despite this term.
9. Ending the agreement
You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account in Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if the law requires it, or if we discontinue the Service; we will tell you why unless doing so is unlawful or would compromise security. Sections 5, 8, 10 and 12 survive termination.
10. Warranties and liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about it — express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose, availability, or that game data will never be lost.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, lost games or loss of enjoyment arising from the use or unavailability of the Service, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim (which, if you have not bought Yamb Extra, is nothing). Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
11. App stores and third parties
- If you got the app from the Apple App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms with the right to enforce them against you. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support and is not responsible for any claims relating to the app.
- If you got it from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply.
- Sign in with Google and Sign in with Apple are governed by Google’s and Apple’s own terms. The feedback form is provided by Tally under its terms.
- Where these terms conflict with a store’s mandatory terms, the store’s terms prevail for the part of the relationship they govern.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Serbia. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country, and you may bring a claim in your local courts. Otherwise, disputes go to the competent court in [CITY, SERBIA]. Before going to court, please write to us — most problems are quicker to fix by e-mail.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the Service changes. The date at the top shows the current version. For a material change we will notify you in the app before it takes effect; continuing to play after that date means you accept the new terms. If you do not, stop using the Service and, if you wish, delete your account.
